How to clean your glasses properly

• Rinse the lenses with lukewarm water if there is dust or sand on them, so you do not scratch them.
• Spray a glasses cleaning spray on both sides of each lens.
• Wipe with a clean microfibre cloth, without rubbing hard.
• Wash your microfibre cloth regularly, without fabric softener.

What to avoid

Kitchen roll, tissues and the bottom of your T-shirt contain fibres that scratch lenses. Household cleaners, pure alcohol and acetone can damage anti-reflective coatings.

Which product should I choose?

• Cleaning spray: for daily care at home (Siclair 100 ml, Zeiss 240 ml).
• Pocket size or individual wipes: for your bag, the car or the office.
• Anti-fog: when wearing a face mask, doing sport or going from cold to warm.
• Microfibre cloth: essential with every other product.

Can I clean my glasses with soap and water?

Yes, with a mild soap without moisturiser, then rinse with lukewarm water. Dry with a clean microfibre cloth afterwards. A suitable spray is more practical for everyday use.

Are these products suitable for anti-reflective lenses?

Yes, our sprays and wipes are designed for spectacle lenses and their coatings, including anti-reflective coatings.
